This whole discussion reminds me of what is better-- a black, sorrow, buckskin, white, palomino and etc horse. However the new F350 Fords have a higher combined weight rating with all the factory suspension options. I think Ford increased the frame structure to take advantage of the weight reduction of an aluminum body. Ford's running gear is very strong as well.
