My 2015 F350 DRW diesel is an XL with just a few options and my payload is just a tad over 5800 pounds with a 14k GVWR. I know it scales at roughly 8200 pounds after several trips to our local transfer station with trash. We get weighed going in and out to determine what we pay for the load we leave. I would think a Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum models would all cut well into that payload as they have many more options than the XL model.
