Ford's payload capacity confusion
Just ordered a new 5er and looking for a truck to pull it (21K GVWR). According to Ford's website, I should be able to get a 2016 F350 4X4 dually diesel that has a 14K GVWR with a 6460 payload capa...

Actually Lyle the payload listed is for a Crew Cab 172.4" wheelbase. However you do bring up a good point, can't tell if it's a gasser or diesel as they make 14K GVWR in both. However the gasser only has a GCWR of 22800 max so I had assumed the larger payload would have been for the diesel. Could be my bad.
As mentioned, with the F450 having a payload of 5300 (per specs) I don't see how that helps me.
