Just ordered a new 5er and looking for a truck to pull it (21K GVWR). According to Ford's website, I should be able to get a 2016 F350 4X4 dually diesel that has a 14K GVWR with a 6460 payload capa...

They have to be actually weighed to be sure ,most trailers this size have a pin of 1000# more then the sales brochure.
Mine has a pin of 2800 according to the sales information , yet when i scaled it the weight was over 4000.
On top of the static weight we should always remember moments- the times you hit a dip and or a sudden rise- the pounds multiply for second and if the brakes are applied while the trailer is lifting the back of the truck .................
