Forest River Flagstaff frame

Question

I began having problems bringing the living-dining slideout in on my 2013 Flagstaff fifth wheel in July. It would get hung up on one side after mostly in. I took it to an RV service center in Iowa who said it needed new tracks underneath. Since I could not stay there to have it done, I made an appointment with my RV service place in NC and took it to them last week. They now tell me that they cannot fix it because the frame of the trailer is bent. They suggested I contact a semi-truck service place to fix it. I have tried contacting Forest River in Indiana to find out why this happened (never been in an accident), how it can be fixed, and by whom. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

There have been several posts over the years on broken frames on various models. Its common for them to manufacture a frame rail to imitate an “I” beam. They are now where near as strong as a real i beam and often develop cracks or tear chunks out around suspension components etc. Some are so pathetic that you could lay in reinforcements throughout the whole frame. Cheaper cheaper cheaper and after that cut a little more and make it even cheaper,  oh wait, I mean more profitable
