My refrigerator is located in the slide out so it was a little easier to change the hose by removing both the upper and lower vent. Like SAR Tracker I got some clear vinyl tubing. If you go to the trouble to change it make sure you install it properly. The hose should extend down and then back up to where it exits. That loop fills with water and blocks air from entering the refrigerator. Without that it is a direct shot into the unit for cold to exit or warm to enter. Some say you can make a 8 - 11 degree difference. I can't say that is totally accurate but it has to help the cooling.
