I had the fuel tank/toolbox combo in an '05 Chevy. I sold it a few months ago and bought a '13 1 ton. I just talked to Michael Friday to order the same setup for this truck. I installed the first one myself but will let him install this one. I can not longer do it because of health reasons.
These are not cheap but they are made out of 1/8" marine grade diamond plate aluminum. They hook directly to the factory fuel system and simply flip a toggle switch to go from the factory tank to the 45 gal. auxilary tank. Both tanks work through the factory fuel gauge. It's a very slick setup. It gave me an almost 700 mile range pulling the trailer with the '05.
When you call the owner(Michael) or his wife Heather usually answer the phone. They are great people to deal with.
Like I said these aren't the cheapest you can find but they are the best IMHO. I wouldn't be buying another on if I didn't think so.
