Tool Box-Fuel Tank Combo

I love my transfer flow tank. During off season I remove the tank to regain my bed. They have great customer seervice too.

I want the extra fuel for pricing and availability selection, not for remote area access.

otherwise at 300 miles I gotta find fuel.. I've seen price fluctuations of 70cents a gallon. also had trouble pulling into a few places with the trailer attached.
mostly I get to stop thinking about fuel all the time. Buy when I want to, instead of when I have to.

google up nationwide wholesale and take a look. their tanks come from RDS out of Perry FL also.

I have a 50 gallon aux tank under a toolbox. It came from ATTA (Aluminum Tanks and Tank Accessories) in Texas. The tank is plumbed directly into the fuel tank selector switch that Ford put on my dashboard (the original midships tank was removed). I love it.

I think some of the new computer checks get confused with the level not dropping while driving.. that MUST mean the fuel level sensor is bad!..

Funny, I never had any real problem on my 08 chevy 2500 or 2011 chevy 3500. I think maybe on my 08 I every once in a while would have to turn the ignition off and restart the truck to get a correct reading but on my 2011 no problems. I never had a CEL.

I found out that by opening the valve when parked for lunch or rest stops gave enough fuel rather than having it always running into the truck tank cured that problem, and it really wasn't a problem as it did nothing to affect the engine. Now with my 11 chev I added a ball valve in the wheel well to make that easier to turn on/off. Now I open/close valve easy and does not set CE light.

Look at TransferFlow. I have a compo 50 gal. fuel/tool box. Sets flush to the bed. Monitors and pumps automatic into stock tank.
I would buy again.

Northern tool usually stocks this tank, so you don't have crazy shipping cost (over $100 for me). NT is not in the north east or west of Texas tho.

fits below my bed cover for the non-towing times. put my FW hook/unhook stuff in the toolbox.

will gravity feed, controlled by my upfitter switches on my ford dually.
