Funny remarks

we got that Heartland Torque toyhauler.

alot of people just don't see this 5th wheel as a toyhauler, til the back comes down :) :)

then the....WOW that is a toyhauler. Huh

In fact when hubby had some detail painted pn our truck to match the hauler, one guy said.....that was the biggest darn Class C I ever saw in my life. HA. it just looked 65 ft long to him as a class C. heehee. funny

One guy said, how did you hauler that golf cart with ya? you got a 5th wheel so no room in bed and no hauler extension on back? How did you do that? ---hubby says, in the toyhauler in back. WHAT? HUH? that is a toyhauler.

I just find it funny. I guess this model isn't out enough yet for most to see it around.

just passing along some funny comments about the hauler we have been getting. Anyone else got funny comments about their haulers from other campers?

No, thats not funny, mine almost did. (Just kidding) I was showing it to a couple that were interested in buying, and a big stream of light was coming thru the edge of the door. Hahahahaha, needless to say they lost interest in buying it. Still can't figure why.

A few days later, I took it to a place that knew the issue, and gave a quote of $100 to fix it permanently.

I joke now, but that really scared me at first. It happened just sitting there. It is an issue with Fleetwood Gearbox toy haulers.

I can't wait to see all the new stuff at the Sand Sports Super Show in a few days. Leaving at 0500 in the morning, if the weather holds.....
  • ut oh, I hope you can resist the temptations you will be seeing :)

it is so hard seeing all the nice new units, but your motorhome sounds great for easier setup etc. that is hard to pass up!
  • We just got a new to us motorhome, 2003 Flair. We sold our 39' GearBox toyhauler, and we are going to the Sand Sports Super Show this week (19-21 Sep) and I'm afraid there will be some really cool toyhaulers there that I'll like. But, I got rid of the toyhauler because it was getting a chore to level and set up. I have both knees that are bad from the military, and I broke my back a few years ago in a sand car accident. This is going to be fun hahaha
  • thanks. we just are the type that every year 'checks' out all new models on the road. we know if something is 'different' and love to see them. what made us laugh was so many haven't seen our unit. huh. I guess many aren't as crazy as we are with rvs lol
