furnace smell
new to us 5er
when we go out in morning we have a smell at furnace. wife says propane, it is very very faint, I almost think maybe a small mouse somewhere.
I took off panel and took a look. did not see anything. ran a camera around furnace and ducting, nothing.
I turned off propane and after 2hrs, could still smell problem. it is faint, but is there. when I turned off the propane tank, the green mark was showing. after 30" it had gone black. makes me think a leak, but after 3 hrs of no propane it still lingers. plan on removing heater tomorrow for better look. is it possible to connect a pressure valve to check for leak.
after I turned off propane, I purged it by turning on stove.
