Furrion TV headphones

Question

Our new 2017 Jayco has a Furrion tv with a headphone jack.  When I tried my iPhone earbuds (two different ones), there has a low hissing background sound along with the regular dialogue.  Any ideas on what to do to remedy this?  Husband has a serious addiction to CNN political news and we may divorce over the tv being on so much

try regular ear bud, Iphone earbuds have a mic on them too.I have used my Furrion TV jack before, no issues.

Furrion's not know for quality. You could easily have a bad unit.

Earbuds aren't the problem, it's that high quality TV you're trying to listen to. That is simply amplifier noise and you can't get rid of it. If it's CNN he wants, download an app called TUNIETY for the smartphone. That allows him to listen to most network program streams from the smartphone and lip-locked to the picture.
