FW Level

Looking for a level I can see from the TV, best I can tell this one looks like the best. Does anyone have experience with it or another they think is as good or better?
  • IMHO that is about the best there is, I have had one on my fiver for years and it sure is nice that I can look in the mirror and see if I am level side to side before getting out of the truck. I just tell the wife which side we need blocks and it is done.
  • Yup, that's what we use. Easy to see from the truck and very accurate. Had them on the other fiver and now on the Montana.

  • Triied those. Best thing I use now is a three foot level I put down in the entry way floor and check fore and aft.. Heck everyone has one or two of those around.

Ps edit: I got one off those hitch mounted levels some were, you can have for free if you are in the area.
  • Just don't get the line that looks similar with a ball bearing inside. Liquid gets cruddy over time and the ball does not roll freely. This one looks like a winner.
  • This one does have liquid and the ball. They all work about the same. We have the other one and are very happy with it. It has a few more divisions but not much different. On ours one division was about equal to one of the yellow leveling blocks.

We had to remember that it works different from a regular bubble level. The ball will go to the low side, unlike a regular bubble level where the bubble will go to the high side.
  • Have one on pin box of my fiver for 7 yrs. now

Works great.....when rig is in site look over my shoulder and know exactly how much/which side is low. Pull forward.....then get out and set level board(s) as needed. Back in and side to side level is done.

It has a small level for front to back level but I don't use it. I use a 2' level on bedroom slide out where landing gear switch is.
  • I never found one where the installer could get it level. Really need to make sure trailer is perfectly level using normal level, then hopefully get it completely straight. I finally gave up and used a level. Not a problem to get out check level. Finally bought a trailer with the Big Foot System. So nice.
