I just found this thread while searching around for info on adding shocks and the benefits. I have been thinking of adding shocks to my Lifestyle fiver. Its has 8k axles, 17.5 wheels and disc brakes. I ordered the rig this way and did not opt for the MorRyde independent suspension. I have since thought about it and contacted MorRyde and was quoted a price of $5k plus the trip from FL to Indiana. NOT happening!
So its good to hear that those that have added the shocks notice an improvement.
The Lippert kit looks to be the simplest to install. The Dexter upper brackets are not bolt on but have to be welded. The Lipper and Dexter are comparable in price. The JoyRider is the most expenseive and looks like theres more parts.
My question would be which of the 3 kits has the best quality shock.
One Reviewer reported that he has had to replaced multiple shocks due to leaks.
