I have an air ride hitch and my RV travels very smoothly. Air hitch seems to make a big difference. Will shocks make things even smoother.
I consider an air ride pin box that last step, to get rid of the small remaining roughness, not the first step.
I still have a bit of a light pin, 5er travels so much better with the FW tank full. I believe in correcting the "root Cause" first then using a Mor-Ryde or air hitch to finish getting the smoothest ride.
While some state they don't see a difference with shocks, our 5er rides so much better with them than before. We will be adding a correct track system soon and that should solve a slightly nose high condition.
