They won't lift a finger until they receive and inspect the tire.

*Good* Goodyear: Save carcass - contact GY. Usually GY will replace & repair..:C

(If you don't have carcass, two chances: slim & none)

*Bad* Goodyear: Nothing for your time & trouble, and -of course- replacement is more of the same tires. Vicious circle..:(

Good future plan: No more GY tires..;)

What GY tire is it?

Had a Goodyear Tire (G614) blow out back in 2010.....tore up the side of 5th wheel.

Called Goodyear.......they opened a claim, made arrangements for old tire carcass to be picked up/shipped to them. Had all repairs and new tire paid for by Goodyear. But I had the blown-out tire that they wanted to inspect.

go to goodyear.com look for a recall list. get all the info off your tire on paper might come in handy.

I went to a Goodyear dealer and they sent the trie in for inspection.

On another ocassion I had to ship a BFG to Michelin. I think I got the number to call from a tire dealer.

They paid for the tire, shipping and damage.
