grease or glide plate

Which is just about double of a smidgen.

a smug is just a bit more than a snich.

Just a note that if you have a SuperGlide hitch then no disc or grease on plate is needed since there is no movement between the kingpin and hitch plate. Just a light oil to keep things from rusting.

Definitions of "Smug" - 1. a quantity of grease such that when it lands on one's clothing one can say "It's only a Smug". 2. A fictitious unit of measure given that the mere mention of grease can sometimes cause clothing stains.

Our hitch quit clanking after installing a thicker poly-disc on the pin.
Worth the ten bucks for that.

Teflon disc IF your hitch will work with it attached. Since not all do, I'd verify before you buy one.

Old Biscuit,We must have been cut from the same cloth,was out this evening getting the TT ready to go, meet new owner tomorrow,came in and wife informed me I had grease here,there and everywhere in between.She's washing my coat now.

Grease.....which if you are like me means it will get on your shirt sleeves, coat sleeves, pants, in your hair, across your face and that's just putting it on---let alone having to clean it off cause it's full of dirt.
