+1
Nice to have when you think you need it. - DazedNConfusedExplorerWe don't use ours for everything...but in tighter camping spots where we are closer to trees or other obstructions, having the ability to be outside right next to the slides while you extend them with the remote ensures you don't hit anything -- and doesn't require a spotter. - simsfmlyExplorerWe have one for our Heartland Bighorn.
- Splashers3ExplorerWe have 2 remotes (liked the first one, we ordered a second) for our 2009 Cedar Creek Silverback and use them all the time. One stays in the trailer, the other in the truck.
They operate the slides, awning, front stabilizers, and door/stair lights.
Very helpful when hooking up, DW uses as I back up. We have the bedsaver, and the trailer needs to be raised slightly first, before lowering down...they are handy. - rattleNsmokeExplorerI use mine for hitching\unhitching and coming back after dark. It's a 'double remote' built into one controller. The top portion of the key fob controls the awning and patio light. The lower section controls the slides and landing gear.
- HondavalkExplorer IIHave one on my sunset trail . Really don't use it.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIIWe have one with our '10 Fuzion that operates the awning, slides, rear and front stabilizers, and overhead light. Used it a couple times, but mostly it hangs on a hook inside. Another answer to a question that was never asked. :)
