It is not a ground - One is a common "C" and the other two are normally open "NO" and normally closed "NC"
The hot lead goes to common then determine if you need open or closed for your other wire. - eightydoExplorer

- Website does show configuration. It may be marked on switch or test with meter. Check your old switch for whether it is normally open or normally closed.

Might want to use an Ohmeter to verify configuration before installing. It should be marked on side of switch.

- I could find what type of switch is in the jacks. Many places may have one if you take it with you. Graingers or Radio Shack
