Staying home on this great weekend of remembrance, except for Sunday. As always, I'm going to place an American Flag next to my Dad's grave marker.

Stuck at home as well, need to save my nickels for next weekends D S ride at Lake Hughes.

FYI I heard that ancestry.com is allowing full open Military records searches over the Memorial Day weekend. I knew my dad was somewhat involved with the Manhattan project and the early drone programs, but he would never talk much about it. Figured since I'm stuck at home I'd take advantage of it and see if I can learn anything.

You too Y-Guy, I won't forget the meaning of Memorial Day, I just lost my hero a month ago, my grandfather who is Japanese American that rescued 1400 prisoners out of China that the Japanese we're holding. If interested in some reading about him, here's a story about him that a lady wrote because she was one of those prisoners that were rescued.
