Hardwired Surge Protector..Hard To Do?

What's involved with installing a hardwired surge protector?
  • The instructions that came with mine were very specific and clear.
Only simple tools needed - just be sure you do it correctly - otherwise you will not get power into the rig.

I did mine in about two hours - and it has paid for itself many times over in the prevention of high power, low power and back-to-front power. I have a 'Progressive' and you can read the installation instruction on their web site at:
    Progressive Industries
and follow the links to the installation manual for the model to suit your needs.

Older campgrounds seem to have a higher frequency of poor or incorrect power supply to the posts.

If you have to ask, then you are not qualified to do the job.

So the answer to your question: Easy as making a phone call and writing a check. Just call a Licensed electrician. 50 Amps is nothing to mess with.
