The Bridgestone Duravis R250 tires were left off the above list, and they're quite popular RV tires. They're every bit the quality of the Michelins at less price, and far cheaper than G614 Goodyears.
I bought mine at Costco for $197 each, and the manager said when mounted on 1 ton work trucks he's seen them go 140-150K miles in hard usage. My old Toyo Open Country A/T tow vehicle tires were not in the same class at the Bridgestones in quality and construction.
Actually I mentioned the Duravis 250's on the first page along with the Michelin XPS RIBS, and I agree, the Duravis 250's seem to be as good a tire as the RIBS at a much cheaper cost..
The OP"s 5er has a GVW of 14,000#, I had a Coachmen Somerset with a GVW of 14,500# and ran "E" rated MIchelin tires on it for the 3 yrs I had it.....The "E" rated tire will handle that weight....
We don't "KNOW" if his wheels will handle 100-110 psi, yeah, I know, you don't have to air the G614's to 110 psi....but if his wheels are only designed to take 80 psi, it would be FAR cheaper to purchase the Duravis 250's, STILL get a great E rated tire which will handle SAFELY the weight he'll carry on his axle (2600-2800# of his 5er is pin weight), and save quite a bit of money over the $300 (and higher) cost each of the GY G614 tires.
