heartland cyclone 4100

Hello, we seen the cyclone yesterday at the rv show and I am wanting opinions on this fifth wheel from owners. We are full timers and will be using the garage as a second bedroom for our children. Thanks
  • Howdy!

We fulltime and are waiting on our Cyclone 4000 to be delivered. Did a lot of research and Cyclone won out. The best information I found was on the Heartland Owners website. So I would suggest looking there.

  • The garages are great, but tend to not be as well insulated. Thus, in extreme hot or cold, they are harder to keep comfortable. The beds and 1/2 bath sure make a great bedroom for the grandkids during the summer at the lake. And, a great place to haul our sidecar rig south in the winter, with just the two of us!

    VERY versatile.
  • Even with the Canadian package they still have problems with heat/cold
  • We have a 2014 on the lot with three A/Cs. They are nice units. Sometimes folks find a lower price point with a more traditional bunkhouse plan. It depends if you need/want the Generator, gas station or patio/ramp. Traditional bunkrooms tend to be better insulated and often include an outside kitchen. Keystone is building a new plan with two FULL baths and 300lb capacity bunks.
Happy hunting! Take your time and enjoy the search. Hope you find a great fit.
  • Love ours. Insulated the floor of the garage myself, then added an AC unit with heat strip option and never looked back. Works great for the kids and is plenty cool and warm for them. Heartland is a great company IMO.
