We're a few months into owning a Heartland Oakmont 390MBL and have been pretty pleased. There are only a few exceptions to that.
1. we've had a few pieces of trim that needed to be re-applied. no biggie
2. The televisions are "Summit" brand - and they are terribly cheap. We've replaced them all with Samsung smart TV's
3. all of the coax connections were loose. While I had the basement wall down, I tighten every one I could reach.
4. ALL of the valves that you need access to in order to winterize the RV are behind the basement wall. someone didn't think that all the way through!
But the positives really outweigh that stuff. the fridge is a residential version and gets cold very quickly. The built-in vacuum sure is nice. one less piece of kit to carry. even in 104 degree temps it stayed cool this summer. Given both AC's were running full blast, but it did keep cool. we've had no problems with structure, water intrusion, slides, etc. The grill is kind of a joke, but it works. having a second bedroom sure is nice. the teenage daughter likes having her own personal space and we still get the large rear living room. the lippert 6 point leveling system works well. the RV is very stable even with the legs extended almost all the way out. The painted front cap is nice. easy to clean, easy to wax. Big stainless sink is nice, and the hot water tank gets hot very quickly even when running electric only.
All in all we are quite happy with the purchase. gotta love those heated massage recliners!
The service from my local dealer is terrible. but thats not a heartland product issue.
