This is something I noticed on my current FW. I have had a number of new trailers, 4 that were rvs. I had never seen a Federal tire info label, that did not match the tires and wheels installed on a new trailer.
So yes, it happens. I called the manufacturer, with the vin #. They told me what tires and wheels it was ordered with, and what it left the factory with. The label was wrong, and they did offer to send a new one to me.
I have since looked at 2 identical trailers to mine, near the same date of manufacture. All three of us had the same tires and wheels, but one of the others had the same wrong label that I did.
