Heat Light frozen questions please
Ok onto the next challenge. It is 6 degrees here and I have a heated hose have left sinks and shower dripping those all working fine however the water that flushes the toilet is not working. Now this may be ok as I am thinking less water less to freeze in the black tank anyway. I bought some lights after the last freeze up and not being able to use a regular heat tape on water pipes after all.
I did hook up the light with only a 50 watt regular bulb and it is in storage or what I think you guys call the basement. Nothing...
I also bought a red heat light bulb that is 250 watts. is it safe to have this under there? does anyone have any experience with that it is the type that has the shiny aluminum cup that houses the bulb and a clip that can be clipped into place. Since last big freeze up when I was froze up off and on for five days I did locate the water lines behind the panels in the basement. Although I am not sure which one is the line to the toilet...Any help with this is appreciated,,,please!
