Hi Paw Paw,
I've expressed my opinion of the so called "cheap" heat system.
It is a good start but fails to meet my needs. There is always, with any upgrade, an "Emperors new clothes" effect. Folks have to be really incensed to complain about such "improvements".
That said, the largest 50 amp system would provide for my space heating, but still lacks fail over to propane capabilities unless modified by the buyer. Of course, I'm in a 30 amp RV so that makes it a moot point.
The smallest version is too big to run on a 15 amp shore power supply and too small to offer many more btu's than a $60 buck heat strip in the air conditioner.
I've not burned an ounce of propane for space heating needs in the last year, nor have I paid for any electricity. I run my RV 100% electrically.

If you read up on this system you will find that everybody that installed this system loves it and the one's that don't use it will not talk good about it, go figure. They think it is not cheap heat, l will say that I camp in RV parks and have not payed for any electricty yet. I keep my camper plugged into electricty while parked and the system stays set at 50 degrees all winter. Did I say I love thi system!!!
