Our 5vr measured 13' 4" actual height when hitched to truck.
We Full Timed for 7yrs. all across USA using secondary/backroads majority of our travels. Hate traveling Interstates.
All those roads/miles traveled we only had 3 occasions where our height was an issue.......all 3X 'signs' on roadway notified us prior of clearance.
SO we just turned around and found alt. route.
Found more height issues within CGs then out on roads traveling.
You know your height (most guess or take mfg. word) so you are ahead of the game.
Look up/pay attention to signage and use common sense.
