Hey Dustin, According to Goodyear site (http://www.goodyearrvtires.com/pdfs/tire-care-guide.pdf) the ST235/80R/16/E tires are rated at 3420# each @ 80 PSI. The LT235/85R/16/E tires are rated at 3042# each @ 80 PSI. By going to a wheel that will handle at least 110 PSI, you can put a Goodyear G-rated tire which has a capacity or 3750# each @ 110 PSI.
You didn't say, but are you currently using Goodyear tires or another brand.
Using 18 percent (2518#) as your pin weight, that leaves 11472# to be supported by four tires which comes to 2868# per tire. The tires you have should carry the load, if they are rated the same. That is if your actual weight is 13990 or less. Hope that helps.
ps: I have had problems too, with my tires over the years, using a lighter fifth wheel, but not to that extent. I have also been using foreign tires.
