I will throw my $0.02 in. If I read your post correctly you dismiss the Dodge/Cummins diesel just because it is just "broken in" at 300k miles? I think I have read where the Cummins MTBF is at 500K miles, that should give you many miles of travel! You may have to pay a little more for a slightly newer Dodge, but do not be afraid of the Cummins Diesel!
