When I was shopping I talked to the service manager about the "new" 6.4 diesel. We got into a discussion about the 6.0. The gist of it was the 06-07 6.0's actually had a better track record than the 5.4 gas. It seems on the later ones they finally figured it out. That was what he thought anyway. 2 cents worth.
