Help toilet hose leak

If you haven’t already made your repairs I’d like to pass on a suggestion. If there is a valve on the toilet that has a slip on connector tube then the hose/clamp may not be the problem. The valve itself maybe the source of your leak and the water simply is dripping at the clamp.

I had this happen after my plastic valve was exposure to freezing temperatures. The plastic valve was cracked along the casting line and was very difficult to see until I removed the valve for a closer inspection. The smallest amount of water left in the valve can swell at cold temperatures and crack the plastic.
Remove the valve (very easy to do once the line is disconnected) and inspect the valve closely. Mine didn’t leak until water pressure was applied.

I now use air pressure to blow out my valves and lines to insure they are dry.

That's why NOW is the time to add a shutoff valve
Sharkbite/Gatorbites/FlairFit 'snap' on and don't leak..easy peasy to install

That's PEX tubing. The ends are connected by using a specific clamp. If the leak is at the connection, you can splice a new section of hose with Pex. If you have a plumber friend, it will be much cheaper to borrow the crimper than to buy one.

Thank you! I'm going to cut that end off and take it to the plumbing supply store and hopefully they can direct me on what to do. I just wish there was a way that i could keep my water turned on until then. I can't stop the water flow to the toilet grrr

Cut that blue PEX line right below that clamp
Take fitting with you.
Go to HOME DePOT and buy a Sharkbite shutoff valve, a Sharkbite 90* elbow like your plastic one (which is probably cracked) and a 2' piece of 1/2" PEX

Then you can redo water line with shutoff valve, new elbow and NO PEX CLAMPS by cutting line closer to floor, install shutoff, install short section of EX line and then new elbow fitting

Home Depot Sells SHARKBITE fittings (Lowes has GATORBITES-----same/same just different branding)

I would cut it off clean and take that fitting down to a real plumbing supply store (NOT Home Depot, etc). Tell them you want Shark bite fitting to replace it.
Or, get one of these: 90 fitting
Easy cheesy.

And if i did tear the wall out to replace the hose i wouldn't know how to connect the hose to the end behind the wall because the other ends look like this:

those weird metal things that are a part of the hose are on all my hoses :(

that metal clamp is part of the hose and can't be removed without cutting the hose. i don't know how to replace that if it's part of the hose and i can get to the other end without tearing my wall out (if I were to replace the actual hose)

I believe those a PEX clamps, and are put on and removed with a special clamping tool. Usual solution is to cut off and throw away, sometimes have to replace entire hose if it gets too short, then replace and reclamp. I do not have a tool for these, Have not had to repair one yet. Most RV repair places have them, or Lowes/HomeDepot sell the tools and clamps in plumbing supplies. But beware, there does not appear to be any standards for size or width of the bands, so finding one exactly like those may be a problem.
