Hey Lucy- 'splain sumthin to me!

I'm the youngest of 11 brothers. We used to try to "gaslight" my mother telling her things like "you said we could stay out late" or "there's no school today it's a teacher work day". She'd always catch on and respond with, "You think I'm crazy, I'll show you crazy!!!" This is when corporal punishments were acceptable for parents of 11 boys. Some of my fondest memories are of my mother chasing my brothers with broomsticks, rolling pins, shoes.... We loved the summers when she would turn the garden hose on them!!! Being the youngest I was spared because they should have known better. Brothers got even though! My parents lived with DW and I for over 20 years when they got older.
