I'm starting to think my 5th wheel trailer is haunted! Last month I found the hose was nearly of off the left side propane tank like someone had unscrewed it. I put it back on tightly. Well this morning I opened the tank door to check the tank levels, again the left tank fitting was loose again! The trailer has not been moved in months and I seriously doubt anyone has been tampering with it. The fittings are relatively new. I checked for cracks in the plastic screw fitting, there were none. Has anyone had this happen to them? Thanks for any help- this is getting scary.

Maybe someone is trying to "gaslight" you.... Even as I'm writing this I'm thinking that many will be too young to even have a clue what I'm talking about. It's an inside joke to those who are a bit beyond too young to remember. Google it if you have any curiosity and ignore it if you don't.

Those big old Green ACME nuts can have issues.....They can leak from crimped fitting, they can fail to allow propane flow due to bad excess flow check valve (or from opening cylinder valve too fast), they can leak due to bad seal and they can crack but they DON'T unscrew themselvesSomebody is messing with you.And 'gaslighting' is a good mind game reference :B

Is somebody "borrowing" your propane? Is that side the side away from the house? Is your next door neighbor a clown? Is another poster on this thread too old to post a link to "gaslighting"? Inquiring minds want to know.
