I live in Calif. And my 1500 sq. ft house elect. was 173.00 last month and this month our bill went into full summer cost and is now projected to be 368.00. and I am not doing anything different. I don't even run the air from 8:00 am to 5:00pm. It might be winter to summer cost. I don't know if other states do it like calif.
