I have to share my experience with you. As I owned a 5th wheel in a mobile home RV Park ion palm Beach Blvd in Fort Myers FL. My electric bills were between 179 -250.00 per month. I was being scammed. There were 39 RV spots. The first five spots where I lived we were paying 10 times more than we should have. The other 34 RV snowbirds were paying 7.50 a month for electric and 7.50 for base change monthly. So while 34 RV snowbirds paid 15.00 per month I was paying outrageous bills. I confronted the HOA members and was ignored for four yrs. I continued to pay the high electric bills because my family and friends were there as we were all snowbirds loving the sunshine. However the office manager was doing the billing along with charging everyone hugh amts of money for water as well. The board of directors never would give me the time of day to address my concerns. So I finally paid it hard on the president of the HOA stating that I was being scammed and fraud was going on in regards to the OM over billing me. Well the OM didn't want me to blow up her scam so she did something very unlawful. She had my RV opened up from a locksmith, left my home opened to be robbed and ransacked while I went back to my home for the summer. Then she had it towed away. She destroyed my semi pension years. I lost my home and everything in it. I never missed a rent payment or a utility payment never in the 4 yrs I stayed at the park in the winter season. I actually paid over 5000.00 over the AMT as what the normal charge should have been. The OM has a history of misconduct and unprofessional acts of violations and other financial issues that are not honestly being addressed at the park. Im still ignored by all members as the BOD believes her lies as she scams elderly people for her own financial needs. I lost everything and I wish some nice lawyer would help me or someone to come along with support to get this scam artist out of the park and remove her from her job. As all of the homeowners are so scared to report her misconduct as she may tow their home away to out of spite. Or show malicious retaliation as she did to me. Please help me, retired RN from NY

Florida power and light told me that RV tenants who us fans, tv, Central air, washer and dryer and use of appliances use about 525 kwh on a average per month. To calculate your monthly average electricity bill in Florida is to multiply the kwh say 525 kwh used per month times 14 cents per kwh . 525x 0.014= $ 7.35 per month. That is the amount of electricity you should pay for. And if the park charges an additional $7.50 for a monthly base charge. You should only be paying the $7.35 ( electric charge) + $7.50 (base charge) = 14.85 per month for electric use for one month in 5th wheel. Less usage less money. Anything over that is a red flag.
