Unbelievable!! Well, I can believe that I forgot that I put them there, but I can't believe I didn't realize they were hanging right in front of my face the whole time I loaded it and maneuvered it around to get it set in the rails. And I went out yesterday and bought 4 new pins and put them in. How embarrassing. Thanks, all. I'll look harder next time.
