The trailer has two Dexter 8000 lb axles with disc brakes. Tires are g rated with a weight rating over 4000lbs each. Citation rates the axles at 14000 lbs so I guess the springs are the week link. Currently the unit has an axle weight of 11500 with most stuff loaded....no groceries or water. So I think it has room. Worst case scenario I'd have to upgrade the springs.
