Hitchhiker 327 REB

Does any know if NuWa ever made a 327 REB 5th wheel? The archives at Nuwa do not list a 327 REB in 2007 or 2008. I think is should be a 329 REB.
Also, I have the VIN # for the trailer and would like to find the build sheet for that trailer. Is there a site that I can input the vin # and get any data back?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

I sent them an email regarding the subject. Their response was that they no longer had the capability to research vin #'s as that data was on a server that no longer was functional. They also thought it might be a 327 LK. They weren't much help.
    Thanks for your reply.

What line? HitchHiker LS, Discover America, or Champagne? The archive on the website shows all the floorplans for each model line offered in a particular year. Are you sure the model designation isn't RSB in the Discover America line?
  • The dealer sez it is a "327 RSB". I have been to the archives and I believe it is a "329 RSB". My main question is where can I do a vin search. I have already talked to NUWA.

    Thanks for the reply

Dale try the NuWa owners Forum. Seems i recall a resent post about another Hitchhiker with a Similar numbering issue with the same number 327 RSB? It was determined to be another number Similar to your post.
    Good luck

  • Is the trailer nearby?????

Reason I ask is there is a model plate near the door of the fiver (on the outside, just to left of door on mine) with the exact model number printed right onto it. Should be a permanent mounted plate there, along with some other info on the fiver.

When you say VIN search, are you wanting to trace the prior ownership of the trailer or learn more about the model? If NuWa can't help you, you might consider joining the NuWa Owners Forum and pose your questions over there. I'd bet there are owners of that particular model that could help answer your questions. http://nuwaowners.org/forum/index.php

I forget the procedure to join, it's changed a bit since their site experienced a denial of service attack a couple years ago. But I believe the new member tab will start you on your way.
  • Thanks for all the replies. The unit only has a 30 amp service so I am not going to look at it anyway. It is 280 miles from home to where it is located and it isn't worth driving up there.

    I'll keep looking.

Agree. I joined the NuWa Owners Forum in April. You apply to be a member. Then they e-mail back to finish enrollment. There is a lot of knowledge in the NuWa Owners forum and have been learning a lot of good information.
    Hope this helps,
