The Fx4 option does not add any additional lift above the level of the normal 4x4 option.
When I ordered my F350, I looked into the FX4 option. In my case it would include 4x4, a suspect shock upgrade, skid plates and a really big decal.
I passed and instead ordered the 4x4 and skid plates options separately and then added Bilstein shocks after I picked up the truck. It's tough, but I'm coping with not having the decal.
