My 3000iS is running my 15.5BTU A/C even as I type. I have mine on eco mode and it starts and runs it fine, so far. I'm gonna leave it running all day just to make sure.
My son has a trip to western Colorado to Country Jam (west of Fruita 20 miles or so) and is going to need the A/C!
So, the answer is yes...
