Suburban has direct AC power for element....no relays used (Atwood does that)
Under the rubber cover (left mid area----'Push to Reset') are the 2 sets of t-stats.
Left set are for 120V AC (right side are 12V DC for propane)
Check the terminal connections, check the wiring insulation (not worn/shorting on exposed/curled lip) and that mounting nut is tight.
Elements work or don't-----water was HOT this AM so element heated.
How is it acting/recovering now?
Element is behind gas valve/burner tube under black cover between ON/OFF switch and drain plug
It is a 120V AC 1440 watt element.
