Tips for a quick sale
- pictures, lots of them. Quality pictures too. If something is broken or scratched, take a picture. If you have 500 pictures, then the people looking in person will already have a good idea of what they are looking at. I imagine a lot of people that end up with no buyers is because they only have a few pictures so people are going there sight unseen.
- Price it realistic. Having it priced too high, no one will look. Priced too low and people will thing something is wrong with it. If you get a solid offer, take it or counter with something realistic. Don't lose a buyer over $500. Your time is worth more than that. check RVtrader for the same or similar models. See what they are listed at. If you are higher, you likely won't get any bites.
- Fix anything that needs fixed. People like buying things that are ready to use. No one really enjoys buying a camper and needing to put tire son immediately, or fixing a cabinet door....etc.
- Clean it out. Selling a camper full of someone elses possessions is really difficult.
Good luck.
