How Easy is it to Hire Someone to Transport

I think a perfect solution for my Dad would be to full time in a fifth wheel. He will be moving about every two years. He does not want to purchase a big truck and he also does not want to pull a fifth wheel. Is it easy to find someone to transport a fifth wheel to another location? Are there other folks that have fifth wheels but rely on someone else to haul it?

He WAS perfect, he had a fatal heart attack.
  • Check with the area RV dealers as they usually have folks that are insured transporters that move their trailers.

Lots of folks use uship.com for moving anything.

Agree, but when you are ready check out Uship:

  • Hiring a transport driver is probably not that hard. The big problem is going to be certifying the trailer as road worthy after every two years. New tires, brake inspection servicing the wheel bearings is not going to be cheap for a move of how far?
