How tall sub frame do I need?

Well I would guess about 6", I think a better method would be to measure/calculate the height of the hitch plate from the ground with your 5th wheel attached on a level surface.
Then on the same level surface disconnect the 5er, and level.
Then measure the distance from the bottom of the pin plate to the ground. The difference between the two is how tall sub frame needs to be to tow level.
