How to stop a Superglide from gliding for 1 trip

I will be camping at a spot this coming season that will not allow me ( space wise) to un-hook and re-hook close to straight.. I measured and have plenty of space, as my cap is curved in the front....

Just leave the hitch head attached and pull the pins that secure it to the base in the truck bed. I did this a few times when I was in a similar situation worked fine.
