How to stop a Superglide from gliding for 1 trip

I will be camping at a spot this coming season that will not allow me ( space wise) to un-hook and re-hook close to straight.. I measured and have plenty of space, as my cap is curved in the front....

I did it that way once and it was a real PITA to re-hook... If your not at the exact same position/angle when rehooking it will not go back... there is no room for margin on the pivots..

I remember a few years ago there were some on here that made a lock out piece for the Superglide themselves with great success ...

I was hoping they were still around and could comment on what they found was best..
