I have had one for 4 years and had no problems with it. I never used the slider function as it was intended but only to give more room in front of the hitch when parked overnite. I had no problems with it. I now have a Curt Q5 non slider for the weight difference. The Husky was much easier to hook up and unhook. The Curt is very fussy about angles and lineup. The Husky as long as the pin went into the "V" on the hitch it would scoot the trailer over or whatever needed and latch. Visual confirmation is easy on both. The Husky is noisier when stopping and taking off as there are more parts.
With the newer trailers a slider is not always necessary. You might look closely. I have had 2 Crossroads and now a Cyclone and didn't need a slider with a 6.5 bed for any of them. (2011,2013,2015)
