I've had my Husky 16K Slider for 11 years with no problems whatsoever. My Cardinal is in the 10K+/- while towing and have been through mountains east & west and from MI to FL and back a couple of times. I've never used the slider feature yet. I'm looking for another 5th wheel, likely a bit longer and heavier, and plan to keep the hitch for the next one.
Also, it's easy to put in and take out when I need the space in my pickup.
