Choice of Husky hitch

Never had an issue with our Blue Ox. It does not have the stabilizer bars to fuss with.

I will say that, except for the noise, the stabilizer bars worked just fine also.

I just talked to the dealer and they for $75 they would upgrade my hitch to the Centerline so after the advice on here that is a no-brainer.

We have a centerline it has worked great. Only minor issue is we lost one of the cotter pins. A cheap replacement and now carry a few extras

(food for thought) One would think because of price or whatever one hitch would be so much better than another. Didn't turn out like that for us. We still had our older hitch set up from a prior trailer when we got our newer trailer. Our older hitch was pretty pricey when new, supposed to be real good (per advertising and reviews:). Our newer trailer had a cheap EZ-lift hitch laying by the propane tanks, dealer said take it if you want it. (Ez-lift is about the cheapest set up you can get). Of course it was raining that day when we picked up new trailer. Instead of messing around with the ball mount on my old set up, we decided to use cheap EZ-lift to tow TT home. Dang it towed great. Long story short, still using cheap set up couple years later. However we did find out a few things after getting our newer trailer home. After completely loaded and ready for the road, then scaled and weighed axle by axle, and side to side. Turns out newer trailer has better percentage of tongue weight and better balanced. Newer trailer is so much more pleasant to tow, even with a cheap set up and about 3,500 pounds more than old trailer.
As far "friction sway control" I don't even carry it anymore. Little friction brake pad on an axis point of 10,000 pounds is like a finger nail file rubbing across big thumb IMO

My first hitch was a Husky Centerline. I really like that hitch. When I bought my current trailer, the Centerline was right on the edge WD wise (1200 lb rating). My tongue weight is just over 1200, so I bought the Blue Ox Sway Pro, 1500 lb bars. The Centerline max bar weight is 1200 lbs.

I think it's a great setup, and I would definitely take it over the earlier Husky setups.

Go with the Centerline. I have that hitch and it works great for my 34' toy hauler.

How heavy and how long is your new trailer and what are you towing it with? Knowing this, you will get better recommendations. Don't just rely on the dealer to do you right.
A good hitch set up properly will go a long way to making your towing experience a good one (or not).

There are certainly many "better" choices out there.

The trailer is 29 1/2 feet hitch to bumper and 7000 # loaded and ready to roll. Will be pulling it with Tahoe part of the time and a Chevy 1500 part of the time. Both are under all of their weight limits so please don't start that discussion.
