I think I understand. I had a similar problem. I had a space 28 feet wide and had three sections of gate. I tied the 10 and 6 foot sections together to make a 16 which I leave closed except when taking the RV out. The 12 foot section swings from the opposite side and is usually left open for auto access. I used two clamps and a long pipe to hold the two sections together. The clamps are made for connecting sections of chain link fence and should be available at HomeDepot. They look like two rounded "W"s with a bolt through the center. One at the top and bottom hold the two sections together. Then I took a 16 foot section of pipe (used for the top of chain link fences) and bolted it to the top of the two sections of gate - that stiffens the whole contraption. Works pretty well for me. I'm on the road so I can't take a picture - sorry.
